East Glos Padel Club

East Glos Padel Club opened on Monday 12th of April 2021 and thanks to its three new floodlit courts you can play all year round.

Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world and East Glos Padel club is open to everyone.

Padel is an easy sport to learn and it’s great fun to play either competitively or socially with friends.

The club is best known for its thriving sociable atmosphere with courts for Padel, tennis, squash and racketball.

Members are able to play any one of these sports under one singular subscription.

As of May 2022, East Glos welcomed the Cheltenham community to play Padel with pay and play sessions which can be booked online. There are also lots of coaching courses for all ages and abilities.

Even with limited racket skills, you can quickly engage in dynamic and fun rallies using the court’s surroundings. Because it’s always played as doubles, it’s a really social activity and ideal for families and friends.

Padel can be played in groups of mixed ages and abilities, as it is not power dominant. The court is enclosed and has walls that are part of the game, with the ball allowed to bounce off them.

East Glos Padel Club also offers organised social sessions. For club members it’s a chance to meet others in a fun, friendly setting.

These sessions take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and can be booked through the clubs website: https://www.eastglos.co.uk/adult-padel-and-coaching/

Speaking about East Glos Padel Club members had this to say:

“It’s been a great new sport to learn.”

“The social side of the club has been amazing.”

“I like how it’s very easy to pick up the game.”

“I took up Padel and have absolutely loved it ever since.”
