Esher Tennis and Padel Club

Padel was established at Esher Tennis and Padel Club in May 2021. The history of the Esher Lawn Tennis Club dates back to 1898 when a group of cricketers decided they would also like to be able to play lawn tennis, they subsequently settled on the current site on Milbourne Lane in the very early 20th century.

The courts themselves are positioned end on end on a former tennis court,  in bright contrast to the red clay/ all-weather tennis courts, the two blue padel courts are right by the entrance to the club, and Esher are very focused on making sure that it’s a welcoming and inclusive place and they’ve got that well covered.

From padel grading, to mix ins, to leagues and coaching for different levels, and what’s more they have been recognised for all their efforts to make this a great place to play racket sports as they were the LTA Regional club of the year in 2022.

We know we will be hearing a lot more about Padel at this club in years to come.
