The UK PADEL Four Nations returned to Slazenger Padel Leeds on 21–22 March, delivering a weekend that underlined the strength, depth and spirit of padel across the UK and Ireland.
Bringing together England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, the event continues to grow as a distinctive team competition. From Open through to Over 60 categories, and with a 50/50 gender split, the Four Nations reflects both the inclusivity of the sport and the increasing standard across every age group.
Beyond the results, it was the feeling around the event that stood out. Energy around the courts, camaraderie between teams and a clear commitment from players representing their countries. It is a format that resonates, and one that feeds directly back into local clubs and communities.
On court, the competition delivered throughout the weekend. Sunday in particular saw multiple England v Scotland ties go deep, with matches in the Open and Over 50 categories going to the final rubbers, and a championship shoot out required in the Men’s Over 60 event to decide the outcome.
