Masters Series gets a new look for October relaunch

Sep 11, 2026

A new five-category UK PADEL Masters Series will bring Open, O40, O50, O60 and O70 competitions together for the 2026/27 season. It all starts in Swansea on 10-11 October, and continues with four further tournaments, each played across two days, with the final round in Tonbridge Wells next March. We’re opening up discussions with prospective sponsors now.

The news comes hard on the heels of one of UK PADEL’s biggest weekends of the year: the Over 60 Padel County Cup, where more than 220 players travelled to Bristol to compete for their counties and regions. East Scotland won the Mixed title, Yorkshire took the Women’s crown and Surrey claimed the Men’s, with both finals decided by championship shootouts. It was a weekend that drew nearly 15,000 YouTube views, with content across the wider campaign hitting almost 200,000 social views. It’s the clearest sign yet of the rising appetite for competitive padel well beyond the sport’s more traditional younger age groups.

That same mix of serious competition and genuine community is what UK PADEL wants to build into the Masters. Open and Over 70 are both new categories for the 2026/27 season, joining the existing O40, O50 and O60 competitions to create five brackets, all featuring Men’s and Women’s draws, of course. The UK PADEL Masters Series is for the first time a complete, integrated season with all five tournaments featuring all five categories.

Traditionally in sport, players have their competitive options reduced as they get older, but UK PADEL’s Masters format turns this concept on its head: an Open-level player, a 45-year-old club regular and a 72-year-old former county champion can each find a category built for them, on the same weekend, at the same venues. Adding the Open bracket brings an additional dimension. Rather than purely an age-group competition, the Masters becomes a showcase for adult competitive padel at every level.

The 2026/27 UK PADEL Masters Series

  • 10–11 October 2026 — South West, Jaxx Padel, Swansea
  • 21–22 November 2026 — South East, Padel Hub Fleet
  • 16–17 January 2027 — North (Grade 2), Racket Barn, Glasgow
  • 27–28 February 2027 — Portugal, Albufeira,  Padel Blu
  • 13–14 March 2027 — Masters Finals (Grade 2), Padel Hub, Tonbridge Wells

The series opens in Swansea on 10–11 October, and entry is open to all players via the LTA site. You don’t need to have played the Masters before, or represented your county/region, to take part.

With five categories, a season running from Wales to Portugal, and an audience that’s grown rapidly around events like the County Cup, the relaunched Masters Series is studded with partnership and sponsorship opportunities. It could be a valuable option for brands who actively target an older market, and you can find out more by exploring our partnerships page or emailing neil@ukpadel.org
