UK PADEL has unveiled its most extensive annual competition programme to date in response to the ever-growing popularity of the sport in Britain – and the almost insatiable demand of players to test their skills against their peers.
This means there will be almost 70 official UK PADEL events in all, supporting and elevating padel participation and performance across the UK.
The schedule starts with the “New Year, New Start” Grade 4 Open at our very own Seaspace venue in Newquay on January 11th. It then spans the length and breadth of the country to deliver the most comprehensive programme ever provided by a single domestic padel organisation.
The calendar provides a clear, structured pathway for players of all ages and abilities – and continues all the way through to a New Year’s Eve Grade 3 event back at Seaspace on New Year’s Eve.
‘Every player has a place to compete’
Mark Ayers, UK PADEL Director of Events, said: “The 2026 UK PADEL calendar is our most ambitious yet and players can look forward to a spectacular 12 months designed to lift the whole nation’s game. No other competition organisation in the UK is delivering this breadth. From grassroots new players to county champions and Masters finalists, every player has a place to compete and grow.”
The 2026 programme includes:
- Five Masters events with the Finals at Southampton’s Padel Hub on March 7th-8th. This is preceded by regional events in Huddersfield and Spain, with two more in Bristol and Fleet in the autumn as part of the 2026/2027 Masters.
- The Four Nations in Leeds (March 21st-22nd) where nations go head-to-head in a fiercely competitive rivalry.
- The National Schools Championships series starting with the Under 13 event at Core Padel Birmingham on 1st February, swiftly followed by the Under 15 Schools Championships at Rocket Padel Ilford 1st March and then at the end of the year the National Schools Championships will take place at Rocket Bristol on October 4th.
- University competitions including the UK PADEL National Universities at Rocket Bristol (February 7th-8th).
The Masters series continues to position UK PADEL at the forefront of the competitive ladder in Britain, and includes an overseas trip to Torre-Pacheco, Murcia, in south-west Spain (February 20th-21st).
Ayers notes: “Our Masters events are where the UK’s best in age group categories can prove it. We’re building a unique competitive identity that blends excellence with true padel culture.”
Youth Tour events feature national Schools championships for U13, U15 and U18 and the first ever Junior County championships with U13 and Under 18 categories for launch.
Ayers added: “Anyone can run a tournament. What we do is build a cohesive year-round structure of events, providing enrichment for our community.. UK PADEL events are inclusive, competitive, joyful occasions that are delivered from the second week of January to the last day of December. These events give players a true sense of identity and competitive purpose, they are also lots of fun!”
